In short: cancel any time from your account and keep Pro until the end of what you paid for. We don’t refund unused time, but we always refund double charges, charges after you cancelled, and our billing mistakes. Credits are non-refundable once used; an unused pack can be refunded within 30 days, minus the payment processing fees.
1. What you pay for
The Free plan is never charged. GERBER.ai Pro is a subscription paid in advance — $197 / month or $953 / year — that renews automatically until you cancel. See Plans & pricing for what Pro includes.
2. Cancelling
Cancel any time from your account → billing portal. No phone call or email is needed. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep Pro until the end of the month or year you have already paid for.
To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before your renewal date. The billing portal shows the date of your next renewal.
3. Unused time
Because you keep full Pro access until the end of the paid period, we do not give refunds or credits for the unused part of a month or year, or for features you did not use, except as described below or where the law requires.
4. When we refund
We will refund the charge in full when:
- you were charged twice for the same period;
- you were charged after you had cancelled;
- you were charged the wrong amount because of an error on our side;
- a serious problem on our side kept Pro from working for most of a billing period and we could not fix it;
- we close your paid account without cause (we refund the unused part).
Please tell us within 60 days of the charge so we can look into it.
5. Credits
Credits are non-refundable once used. An unused pack can be refunded within 30 days of purchase, minus the payment processing fees charged on your payment (our card processor’s and payment platform’s fees, at most 3.9% + 30¢), which are not returned to us either. For example, a refund of an unused $10 pack is at least $9.31. Once any credit from a pack has been used, that pack can’t be refunded. Unused credits are lost when they expire or when you close your account. Bought credits last 12 months; monthly Pro credits and gift credits are never refunded.
If you dispute a credit payment with your bank, we pause your credits until the dispute is resolved. While paused, you can’t spend or buy credits. Contact us first and we’ll try to sort it out. The full credit rules are in the Terms of Use.
6. How to ask for a refund
Email mark@gerber.ai from the email address on your account. Include the date and amount of the charge and a short note on what happened. We reply within 5 business days.
Approved refunds go back to the original card through Stripe. Your bank usually shows them within 5–10 business days.
7. Billing disputes
If something looks wrong on your statement, please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank — we can usually fix it faster. Pro access, and spending or buying credits, may be paused while a chargeback is open.
8. Price changes
We give at least 30 days’ notice before a new price applies to your plan, so you can cancel before it does. See the Terms of Use for the full billing terms.
